[Global Network reports intern reporter Choi Yeon] According to the latest news of the Japan Release Association (NHK), Japan's defense minister, Taro Kono, called a defense ministry official on the afternoon of the 10th to call a defense conference, ordered to send a \"Gao Bo\" class frigate and two P3C patrol aircraft to the Middle East.

Reported that patrol aircraft will be 11 from the naba base in okinawa, starting this month in local intelligence. The frigates are expected to leave Yokosuka base in Kanagawa prefecture early next month and begin operations there from next month.

\"It is very important to ensure the safety of the navigation of Japanese-related ships in the Middle East, and the intelligence-gathering activities of the Self-Defense Forces will be of great significance,\" he said at the meeting.

Japan's government cabinet meeting decided on December 27,2019 to send maritime self-defense forces to the Middle East. Japan will send a \"high-wave\" class frigate, sending around 260 people, originally in the Somali waters to participate in the anti-piracy activities of the P-3C patrol aircraft will be ready to follow orders.

Japan's opposition party on the 9th called on the government to cancel its decision to send self-defence forces to the region because of deteriorating conditions in the Middle East.
